Woodland Playground Bark is a high quality loose impact absorbing surface (LIAS). This product has been successfully used by schools, local authorities and other public play providers.
Playbark 10-60 is available in loose bulk loads, bulk bags and 75 litre bags.:
For Commercial Use: A 90 cubic metre load will cover a play area of 400 square metres to a settled depth of 200mm.
For Domestic Use: 80 x 75 litre bags will cover an area of 27 square metres to a settled depth of 200mm.

Independently tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 1176 at depths of 300mm, 200mm & 100mm giving critical fall heights of 7.29m, 4.22m & 2.42m respectively.

Playground pine bark should be installed evenly to a depth of 200mm in all areas of the play installation.
A suitable polypropylene membrane which allows free drainage should be placed on the surface below the bark before its installation.
An allowance of 10% of volume should be allowed to take account of settlement.
Maintenance should include occasional checks of bark depth to ensure adequate protection in all areas. Areas where cover is inadequate must be topped up.
