Super-Root Soil Conditioner
Super-Root is a high quality, non-peat based, professional tree and shrub planting compost. It’s an excellent growing medium for immature and established plants. It is prepared from matured mushroom compost and composted bark fines, with the controlled addition of minerals and nutrients. It is blended with topsoil on site before use.
PAS100 Green Compost
PAS100 green compost processes garden waste, such as grass cuttings, pruning and leaves, so that material can break down in the presence of oxygen. It is best used within gardens for landscaping.
Mushroom Compost
Mushroom compost is an excellent soil conditioner which will improve the structure of heavy clay soils and add humus to thin sandy or chalky soils. It is weed and disease free. This product is pH neutral so will not raise the pH of most soils. Mushroom compost should not be used for ericaceous plants.
Composted Fine Bark Compost
Composted fine bark is an organic matter-rich soil conditioner, suitable for a wide range of landscape applications, particularly when it is required to improve the soil structure, quality, organic matter levels and water holding capacity. Particle sizes are 1mm – 20mm.
Shredded Farmyard Manure
Cow manure is an excellent compost for adding organic matter to soil which improves soil texture and sustains plant growth over time. It comes pre-shredded which allows it to be easily worked into soil.
Shredded Horse Manure
Our shredded horse manure is collected from racing stables where horses are fed on a grass free diet. This ensures that the manure does not contain any weed seeds. Our horse manure is composted at a temperature that will kill pathogens and fly larva.
Peat Based Growing Media
Peat based growing media helps cultivate all types of plants at all stages of growth, especially those plants which are more demanding. This media is suitable for potting, cuttings and seeding for all types of plants including ericaceous plants, grown both outdoors and indoors.
Peat Free Growing Media
Based on composted bark fines, composted wood fibre and other peat free materials indigenous to the United Kingdom. These media are suitable for potting and cuttings of most types of plant. They can also help you control plant disease through chemical or biological means.
Loam Based Growing Media
Made to the traditional and proven John Innes formulae from sandy loam, peat, horticultural sand and John Innes base fertiliser. Available as John Innes Seed Compost and John Innes Potting Composts numbers 1, 2 or 3.
